Our popular summer programs are back and we can’t wait to welcome your child to campus! Ashley Hall Summer Programs highlights:
- New for 2025: More specialty camp offerings for the older boy student (up to grade 5) including Sport-All Stars, Chess Champions, a Maker Space Lab, and a week-long Robot Engineering Class just for grades nine through twelve.
- Athletic Camps: Tailored for student athletes in middle school and above, these week-long intensives are a great way to sharpen skills over the summer.
- An individualized experience for campers thanks to limited class sizes
- A trained staff of counselors

Get ready for a summer of exploration and hands-on learning. Ashley Hall’s Summer Camp for four to five-year-olds offers a selection of high-energy activities for children to explore their world through swimming, arts and crafts, sports, and special events. Weekly themes allow campers to immerse themselves in creativity while exploring the world around them. Each session is led by trained educators, experienced counselors, and certified lifeguards to provide expertise in an engaging and safe learning environment. Wee Little Arts Specialty Camp (Girls & Boys)

Campers learn different artistic styles inspired by far-away lands and historic periods. Engaging the minds of young children, this camp session is a wonderful way to pique the creative spirit of campers, who gain confidence in producing their own works of art.

Painting, collage, and sculpture–girls experience a wide range of art mediums while producing their own masterpieces! Each day has dedicated time for campers to work with their favorite art medium and culminates with a beautiful portfolio of their best creations.
Chess Champions Specialty Camp (Just for Boys)

Chess Champions is a super-fun, high-energy chess experience in which kids will learn the various aspects of chess from setting up the board to advanced strategic play! Laughter, fast clocks, and compelling teaching approaches make this camp the summer’s highlight.

Food Truck Challenge Specialty Camp (Just for Girls)

Food on the run! This camp allows girls to pitch food truck concepts and develop corresponding menus! In addition to cooking tasty bites, they learn about the business of running a food truck and compete in fun challenges to test their skills. Order up!
MakerSpace Lab Specialty Camp (Just for Boys)

Sparking imagination and inspiring creativity, the MakerSpace Lab is the place to be for boys interested in design, art, construction, and more! From learning techniques to prototyping, boys get hands-on experience with creative technology, including 3-D printer and laser cutter.

Robot Engineering (Just for Girls)
June 19 – 28

$750 | Credit earned upon passing the course: 0.5 credits
In this course, students will delve into the world of robotics using Lego Mindstorms Kits, Mindstorms software, and Lego Robotic materials. Through hands-on activities, students will learn to design, construct, program, and document autonomous robots. Key topics covered include essential programming concepts like variables, control structures, data structures, and logical reasoning. The focus will be on practical applications, which may include alarm systems, exploration, laboratory procedures, and more. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to design robots for competitive tasks devised by both peers and the instructor. This course aims to ignite students’ interest in further Technology offerings in the Upper School and equip them with a solid foundation for future academic and career pursuits.

Sparking imagination and promoting healthy activity, this camp inspires young explorers eager to investigate the great outdoors! From outdoor games and nature scavenger hunts to learning about the natural habitat of the Lowcountry’s wildlife, campers enjoy new outside adventures each day.

Learn2Lax is designed to teach the fundamental skills of lacrosse, such as scooping, passing, catching, and shooting in a fun and safe learning environment. The weekly curriculum includes a progressive series of skill-building activities and games that encourage sportsmanship, fitness, and teamwork. Girls gain a life-long love for lacrosse!
Lego Robotics Specialty Camp (Just for boys)

American Girl Doll camp will be filled with playful learning. We will learn the history and stories of different dolls, practice care and upkeep of our dolls, and work on crafts. This camp will also help instill confidence in our campers through interesting stories, showing the girls they can do great things.
Pokemon Specialty Camp (Just Boys)

Discover the secrets of Pokémon while creating the ultimate team and find out how to most effectively battle your friends so you can come out on top! Campers will also learn how to take their Pokémon fighting skills to the next level by learning which Pokémon types and moves are effective against their opponents and how to use strategy to win battles. At the end of the week, campers can go home with boosted self-confidence and a deeper understanding of the popular game!

During this beginner camp, archers learn range safety and fundamental archery skills and receive training from USA Archery’s certified coaches. Each day is filled with instruction, creative games, and plenty of competition.

Early School Day Camp (Girls & Boys)

Get ready for a summer of exploration and hands-on learning. Ashley Hall’s Summer Camp for four and five year olds parallels its Early School program and its philosophy of student-driven, experiential learning. The curriculum adapts to students’ interests and passions while incorporating many Early School activities. Camp fee is all inclusive, with a hot lunch, healthy snacks, and daily swimming.
Literary Cooks Specialty Camp (Girls & Boys)
8:15 a.m.– 11:15 a.m.
$250 | Minimum number of campers required: 8
Aspiring cooks savor this class and its delicious daily activities! In addition to cooking, students explore food-related books, games, and crafts. Each young chef creates an individual cookbook with favorite recipes.

Designed just for girls in rising first and second grade, Ashley Hall’s Girls Day Camp offers the opportunity to explore dance, music, drama, swimming, arts and crafts, sports, and special events. Through weekly themes, campers immerse themselves in creativity while exploring the world around them. Each session is led by trained educators, experienced counselors, and certified lifeguards to provide expertise in an engaging and safe learning environment. Ashley Hall’s unique camp setting creates a supportive environment where campers make new friends, strengthen both minds and bodies, and just have fun! Camp fee is all inclusive, with a hot lunch, healthy snacks, and daily swimming.
Boys Day Camp

Ashley Hall is excited to announce the return of its summer programs for boy campers! Designed just for boys in rising first and second grade, the Boys Day Camp offers a selection of high-energy activities for boys to explore their world through swimming, arts and crafts, sports, and special events. Weekly themes allow campers to immerse themselves in creativity while exploring the world around them. Each day includes various sports and physical activities that emphasize the importance of teamwork while helping campers fine tune their motor skills. Each session is led by trained educators, experienced counselors, and certified lifeguards to provide expertise in an engaging and safe learning environment. Camp fee is all inclusive, with a hot lunch, healthy snacks, and daily swimming.

Does your child like things on the yucky side? Take advantage of the gross factor and send your young scientist to explore extra icky science experiments at Ashley Hall! This camp is guaranteed to have them saying “ewww” but leaving with a smile on their face each day.

Fashion Week is all about being creative and having fun with new ideas! Campers learn more about fashion, design, and sewing, which empowers them to create projects they can wear. Campers build self-confidence and awareness of their personal skills through a variety of hands-on activities and collaborative projects.
Chess Champions Specialty Camp (Just for Boys)

Chess Champions is a super-fun, high-energy chess experience in which kids will learn the various aspects of chess from setting up the board to advanced strategic play! Laughter, fast clocks, and compelling teaching approaches make this camp the summer’s highlight.

Registration Information
Registration is available online only.
Summer Programs Deadlines: Specialty camps must meet minimum camper registration requirements by April 15, 2024. If sessions do not meet the minimum by this date, families will be contacted and offered the option to switch into another specialty camp or receive a full refund.
Summer Programs Deposit: There will be a $125 non-refundable deposit per week of camp (or session) to secure your camper’s spot. All payments, minus the non-refundable deposit, are fully refundable until May 6, 2024.
Payment: Balances due on all summer programs must be paid in full by May 6, 2024. Campers who fail to meet this payment deadline risk losing their spot and deposits. There will be no refunds issued after May 6, 2024 unless there is a public health emergency or an individual medical emergency accompanied by a verifiable doctor’s note. Camps cannot be prorated for missed days during a camp week. Ashley Hall reserves the right to change the details of any camp. For the most up-to-date information, visit the website below.
